Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild

Welcome

We are the Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild, formed in January 2013.  Our focus is on the modern quilt--defined by the use of bold color, modern graphics, asymmetry, open/negative space using neutral colors and other modern elements.

For more information about modern quilts, you can also visit our national organization at www.theModernQuiltGuild.com.

We welcome all levels of quilters--from beginners to experienced. Our meetings are open to all who have an interest in modern quilting.

At our meetings, we conduct a friendly "Show, Ask & Tell" where our members and visitors share their in-progress and completed quilts.  We also answer questions about quilting, techniques, materials, etc.

For information about the events at upcoming meetings, go to the Events Calendar page.

DUES: Starting in January 2014, our annual dues will be $25.00 per year. Visitors are asked to pay $5.00 per meeting after their first two visits.

We communicate with our members through our  listserve at www.Yahoogroups.com.  You can go to that site, search on Sarasota Modern Quilt Guild and JOIN our listserve if you are a member of the Guild.

Contact us by email at info (at) sarasotamodernquiltguild (dot) com or by using the Contact Form on this site by clicking HERE.
